Day One: An awkward Meeting
Here it is, freshman year at college in a new country! Im a film major from South America, though that doesnt matter much now. Arriving from the airport, I traveled on the second dorm floor down a long hallway until I found room 11B; initially I had trouble, seeing as the hall ended at 11A. Past the hall was a connecting corridor that continued a ways. At the end was a window, which was normally usually used by the other residents for smoking pot. I entered to find an extremely empty room. Nearly an hour passed, and having finished packing, I looked at my accomplishment. I sat in the dorm, waiting for my potential roommate to arrive, but as the hour passed, I left for dinner.
