“So what do I do?” asked the giant.
“W-what do you mean?”
“To become your keeper, or whatever it was,” he said.
“Oh…um…” I struggled to think on the spot.
The big man looked at me expectantly. “Come on.”
“It’s pretty simple, actually.” I took a deep breath as if making the final decision. “All you do is say, ‘I am now your keeper’.
“I am now your keeper?”
“And I accept.”

I looked into his brown eyes, and he looked at me. We said nothing for a second.
“What, that’s it?” He boomed.
I nodded. “Yep.”
“I don’t feel any different…”
“Well, try it. Say what size you want me.”
Jason smiled. “OK…ant size.”
