I looked up at Josh, wondering what was going through his head. Leaving tonight? Where were we going? How would we get there? What about money? I had so many questions running through my brain and I could only wonder if Josh had the same questions running through his. Had he been planning this for a while, or was this a spur of the moment thing he just decided to do as a result of what was happening. Clearly he had come to the realization that Peter was not the kind of person to be trusted with power over miniature people.
Josh carried me in his hand into the kitchen, setting me down on the counter. I stared up at him, his large arms bulging in his t-shirt. The look of worry on his face was almost endearing, because it was an expression I wasnt used to seeing on him. I still couldnt believe how things had changed so fast, from bully to bestie in such a short amount of time. Thinking back over the last couple weeks, I was actually kind of happy that things turned out the way they did. It was cool to find out how Josh truly felt.
