Brandon's colossal foot descended with the speed and finality of an avalanche. It was only Daniel's athletic ability and quick reflexes that saved him; he dove out of the way just as Brandon's foot hit the floor. The gust of wind from beneath his flip flop sent the minuscule lacrosse player tumbling a few more inches. Looking up, he realized he was now in between Brandon's feet.
"BRANDON! BRANDON!"
Daniel screamed the giants name as loud as he could, hoping desperately to be noticed, but it was clear that his voice was too weak to reach that high. Brandon stepped out of his flip flops, and Daniel was forced to dodge out of the way once again as his gargantuan roommate kicked his sandals aside. He turned towards Brandon's now bare foot, and ran toward it, hoping to get his attention that way.
