The man walked up the stairs, shaking with apprehension. The House was terrifying, with its patchwork of new and old walls and floors and the gargantuan staircases. Exterior and interior walls had pushed out in all directions making room for wider hallways and doors that were only partially finished.
These steps were insane, thought the man as he pulled his fatiguing body along by the high hand rail. Though he had only met one of the frat boys, a hulking black student named Brad who had shoulders almost as wide as the hallway, he started to wonder if the whole house was being reconstructed from the inside out to accommodate enormous people. When he reached the top, the man looked back to count the steps; only fourteen. What he did not know was that with their enormity, the brothers had gone so far as to lift the house in sections to add additional feet to the height of the rooms.
