The weeks rolled by, each and everyone of them sheer bliss.

Snow had coated the ground, and Thanksgiving was right around the corner. As awful as James had imagined his life to be at this point was a wonderful as it had become. Aaron had set up a multi roomed plastic cage for James. This had actually been a request. Aaron couldn’t take him to work every day (they had tried once and it proved to be far too distracting), it was too boring to sit in the drawer all day and after an encounter a rather large beetle on the coffee table one afternoon, James had suggested a cage, and true to form Aaron took it a step further and not only got him a cage but got him several rooms one of which he painted opaque to be the bedroom, strung lights through attached to a power strip so James could turn them on and off, and even had some hobby furniture made up. A cozy feather bed, with sock bedding (it started as a joke, but James actually wouldn’t relinquish the sock except to be washed) a couple of chairs a couch and an old phone that hooked up to the wifi and acted as James’ big screen TV. Aaron wouldn’t give him clothes, but James didn’t mind that either. He didn’t feel naked in front of Aaron.
