Chapter 11: In Deaths Shadow
The night before seemed all too real to be considered a dream. My mind was reeling with sorrow drenched in fear. I managed to get up but it was strange, the world around me had so many familiar scents and sounds all lingering about. The ground was soft and plush like a cloud if it were possible to stand on one.
What is going on?! I panicked realizing I was still stark naked standing in the middle of an endless blue plain.
Are these bedsheets? I gasped aloud. Jon said he was going to send me away someplace, but I had no inclination as to where.
The scent of the sheets had a familiar musk emanating about them, it was sweet and welcoming with a strange indentation throughout the massive bed.
Sean? I said.
