Across The Way

Ed. Your across the way neighbor. He had moved in during the Summer and you guys had become instant Buds. 6ft. Lean and Muscular you both had started working out together, the results only refining his physique more. It was fine tho, you’d always get his sloppy seconds. Between those piercing blue eyes and scruffy beard, he always had leftovers for you.

Most nights you would walk the five feet from your doors over to his and just get drunk and shoot the shit. Him passing out on his leather couch and you back home a drunk stumble for your keys away to your bed. It was nice for some male bonding time and you always felt comfortable shooting the shit with him.

One night Ed broke out a new caked whiskey he had been wanting you to try. Being you, there was a reason you never touched the stuff. The two of you got exceptionally drunk that night. So much so that you passed out on the living room floor, and him on the couch as usual. The last thing you remember seeing was a tilted upshot of Ed bent down prying off his free runners off his barefeet and then plopping back as his bare pruney and meaty soles dangled over the side, and you laying in your back on the floor just below as you passed out.
