This is a continuation of The Police Captain.-----------------I woke up with a start as I heard a clamor of voices.As I tried to figure out whether these were friendly voices or not, I lay there for a moment thinking of how many times I'd been exposed to whatever the drug was that they used for this material.Fortunately, it didn't seem to have any side effects. And I sure as hell felt rested considering I'd only had 3 hours of sleep last night.Or was it last night? What time was it, anyway? I reached for my phone and realized I was just wearing shorts and a t-shirt.In all that happened in the police station, or wherever the security agent had taken me, I never noticed the skimpiness of my clothes. Or that I had nothing with me. No ID. No phone. No cash. Just the clothes on my back.
