I remember when the news was announced last year.

I am the senior drum major for the Holten Estates High School band, trained for it since freshman year. And since I've played saxophone for the last three years in the marching band, I get to see the football team real close almost all the time.
I could recall all those years I watched what you could call my crush I guess, Zack. Such a sweetheart to anyone he met, including me when I was in his world history class in freshman year and many other classes after. He would ask for my help and I being a history buff, helped him get an A+ on both his finals that year. He would slap my back like I was one of the guys. I felt so close to him, I told him I was gay. He just simply shrugged it off and took it as a compliment. We still remained good friends.
