It's summer after senior year, school is over until I head off to college, and my parents are going on vacation and leaving me in charge of the house for two weeks. What could possibly be better? I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I heard a knock at the door, that's how it could get better. I opened the door to see Brian, my boyfriend, standing there. I give him a quick kiss before moving aside to let him in. He's got a small bag of clothes with him, which he tosses on the floor in the foyer.
"Have your parents already left?" he asks, looking around concerned.
"Don't worry, they left over an hour ago" I reply. Relief washes over his face.
"Good" he says "Your Dad scares me sometimes" he says, chuckling nervously.
