Life as a tiny 1

Hello, my name is Zac and I’m a tiny man leaving in a world of giants. Actually, I’m not the only tiny out there. About 1/4 of the world population is tiny in my world. We have yet to discover the cause of this, but over the years, we have learned to live with this and accept it.

Well, first of all, let me tell some things about me and the world I live in. I come from a family of four. My father, my mother, my brother and me. I’m 21, the youngest of two siblings and the only tiny in my family. Life wasn’t always that easy for me but thankfully I’ve always had them to be there and stand up for me, especially my brother. Let’s continue with some general facts about this world and our society. The average ‘giant’ male is about six feet tall and the average woman about 5’7’’ and the average tiny man is about two inches tall and the woman just a little shorter. When I was born, I was just an inch tall but now I’m two inches. We definitely have some laws that protect tiny citizens from deviant giants, every tiny is given a very small tracking device when they’re born, we have special roads and elevators just for tinies and many other useful solutions that help us have a better everyday life. Also, any tiny in spite of being a man or woman, has to marry a giant man, because it is deemed by our society that us tinies can’t live alone or protect ourselves and so, we need a giant man to be there and take care of us. So, as a consequence you have to be with a man without considering if you’re straight or gay. Adding to that, we can’t decide if we want to marry or not. If a giant likes you, he can ask you from your parents but due to the fact that many giants want to marry tinies, what we do decide is who we’re going to be married with. It definitely sounds and is undemocratic, but as a tiny, you have to comply with the rules and laws that giants impose.
