Day Five

Both Jaydon and Mark awoke to the smell of meat cooking on the fire. This could only mean that Tom and Kirk had returned earlier this morning and were already working on breakfast. Mark wondered what they would do if either of these two men left as they had been keeping the rest of the campers well fed over the last five days.

Mark began to stir as he sat up, yanking himself free from his lover’s tight clutch.

‘Mmmm, that smells so good.’ Mark said, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. ‘How was you night?’ he asked.

‘It was nice, but it seems again that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.’ Tom said looking over at Jaydon. ‘I can’t believe it happened to him AGAIN!’
