4:25pm. Florida. 79°F. Law and Edwin were sitting at a picnic table in a designated area outside of McDonald's. Law had his elbows on the table, both hands holding a flattened burger as he chewed on the bite he just took.
"It's pretty gross, what you're eating," Edwin observed. "If you knew what was in that stuff, you'd never patronize another fast food restaurant again."
Law said through a mouthful, "Bite me." Suddenly the burger came to life, wriggling and squirming as the top bun began flapping in Law's hands. He held it tightly and growled, "Dammit, Edwin!"
The burger went lifeless but Law had lost his appetite already. He tossed it down onto the wrapper with a light thud and then dusted his hands off. "Check to see if he replied already."
"You're just grumpy right now because you're eating junk food."
