After Brock left, I slowly walked out of the wreckage, trying not to look at the crushed remains of the little only a few feet away from me. The street was in havoc. Nearly half of the buildings surrounding me were in ruins, and citizens were running this way and that. A few injured littles were crawling down the street, and I could see blood splatters, as well as some flattened littles, in the streets.
I ran over to a man who was crawling and lifted him to his feet. Whats wrong? I asked.
I think my legs broken, he said, wincing, I was in the building that he kicked . but Im lucky. The guy standing next to me got flung across the town.
I put the mans arm around my shoulder, and helped him walk to a corner, where someone had put out a sign saying that they would help the injured. The clean-up crew had just arrived, along with some volunteers, to start the clean-up process.
