It was a 20 minute drive back to his house as Andrew pressed down on the gas. He lived on the opposite side of town, having to drive more uphill to reach his destination. In the car, he was currently listening to a new hit single, G.U.Y by Lady Gaga. As the song entered its final chorus, before he drove into his driveway, a sudden jolt shook the car as he put it into park. The trunk popped open as the tall, older man grabbed a few things from out of the compartment and then just as he shut it, the vibration shook off a tiny speck that was on the verge of vomiting after spinning around and around on a rubber wheel.
I I can breathe. Still land, thank the heavens! as I dragged myself along the paved driveway to the open vicinity of my unbeknownst awareness of a human being stepping forward as I looked toward the house. It looked relatively familiar that similar window framing out front and a slight half loop of cobblestone flooring that led to the front door steps and into the house. Yet, something else that immediately became familiar was the slight THUD as this overbearing weight came crushing down on top of me.
