Todd left the quaint hotel in the early morning Irish fog. He was on his way to an abandoned castle on a bluff overlooking the sea. He was doing research for his latest book, "The Ghosts of Ireland". Todd had been a professor of European history who had written failed books on English and Irish history. In desperation, his publisher convinced him to write a book about the ghosts of English manors. It became a best seller, even spawning a documentary on PBS. Since then, he had written several more volumes on ghosts from different countries. Now it was Ireland's turn.

Todd reached this remote corner of Ireland, asking the locals if there were any interesting ghost stories around. The townsfolk shook their heads no, but did warm of the giants. Todd immediately perked up. If he could have his wish, he would have enjoyed exploring the foundations for all the giant fairy tales. Todd loved giants. Being of less than average size, he always fantasized about bring snatched up in a meaty fist, and carried off for a new life as a sex toy. This dream had provided many happy nights for Todd when there was no bear around for him to entice for the night.
