The "Tuskegee Towers" Get A New Pet

I have the most awesome masters a pet could ever hope to have. Master Byron installed voice recognition software on his laptop and placed me on his desk with a computer microphone. So all I have to do is speak into the mic and my words get typed on the screen. Pretty cool, huh? Considering I’m only about 8 inches tall, I couldn’t exactly type on a standard keyboard or use a pencil anyway. My giant masters want me to tell the story of what’s happened to me – so they can sort of experience it from my point of view. They think it will be a major turn-on.

OK, here goes….

My name is Matt. I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin and graduated from high school last spring. Just two weeks before graduation day, my mom and dad were coming back from a business trip to Chicago and were both killed in a car accident. I don’t have any brothers or sisters and really wasn’t very close to our other relatives. My parents were struggling with their small business ventures and by the time the lawyers got through sorting it all out, they basically told me I’d have to sell the family house to pay off my parents debt and if I was lucky I might have about ten thousand dollars left over. I felt completely lost and alone and didn’t know what to do with myself. For a while, I thought I might just kill myself and be done with it. Then one day I was talking to a buddy of mine who said, why don’t you go ahead and enroll in college? You can get student loans to cover everything and you won’t have to pay any of it back until you graduate. It sounded like a good plan. At least I’d have a place to live, something to keep me busy, and I might make some new friends. I needed to move away and start fresh in a completely new place. But where should I go?
