Jake awoke to the muffled, but deep voice of his father. He was arguing with a man in a white lab coat just outside of this strange room. It took a second, but Jake's mind finally registered where he was, a hospital, that would explain the gown as well. He immediately checked his person, trying to discover why he was here. Despite his best efforts, he could find nothing wrong, he felt fine. He yawned, stretched and decided to go see his dad. He swiveled to the left, expecting his kegs to droop off of the bed so he could stand and stretch his legs. Instead they were met with more bed. Jake thought this odd, and finally took his first good look around. He nearly fainted at what he saw.
As if he were in some kind of awful dream, it seemed that his hospital bed had grown to gigantic proportions, to the point where it stretched on for miles to either side of him. The bed sheet was bundled up, forming a wrinkled mountain range in front of him. Jake stood and stared off into the distance at the mountains of surgical equipment, all standing on a vast ocean of tile.
